About Me


Well what can I say at the time of writing I am 26 years of age, I have been married for just under 1 year and have been developing websites for the past 10 years. I have been the director of my Limited Company "NE14HOCKEY Ltd" and self employed for past 2 years since its formation in June of 2007.


My educational background includes 9 GCSE's, 3 A-levels in Maths, Physics and Design and Technology which I had hoped would take me into a career in Robotics. Unfortunately 2 A's and a B eluded me and my mother suggested I turned my passion for online games and pottering about with websites dedicated to them into a career. 3 years later I graduated with a 1st in IT from Loughborough University in the summer of 2004.



My Abilities


My background is almost totally open source so PHP4/5 and MySQL 4/5 are the languages that I am most familiar with and use on a daily basis. I can design in Photoshop for either web or print from signs to leaflets. I have also dabled with several MS technologies over the years which include ASP and C# .NET.


One of my skills is knowing a good group of freelance designers and coders whome I can call upon for additional hands when times get hectic and I have too much work to handle on my own. These are longterm relationships with people I can trust. If I'm outsourcing you can rest assured your project is in good hands, and that I will ask you before doing so.
